The RIASEC Model observes that most people can be categorised into one of six personality types: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising and Conventional. These descriptors can also be applied to six basic types of work environments, and people who choose to work in an environment that aligns with their personality type are more likely to be happy and successful.
Understanding your own personality and interests will assist you in choosing a vocational pathway that you will find inspiring, stimulating and rewarding.
Once you have completed your assessment with your Student Advisor, they will guide you towards study options that will set you up for success in a career that matches your RIASEC results.
