This module introduces students to the key principles of marketing and
how they are used in business today. Students will learn why marketing is
important, how it helps businesses reach customers, and how to apply
basic marketing ideas in different workplace situations.
They will also explore the marketing environment, competitive situations,
market segmentation, customer decision-making, marketing
communication strategies and sustainable marketing. The module is
designed to help students develop a practical understanding of how
marketing supports business growth, customer connection and
