ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
This tourism programme focuses on offering high-quality training, equipping you with the necessary skills, knowledge and attitude to thrive in the ever-changing tourism industry. This exciting programme introduces you to the different sectors comprising the tourism industry. You will combine both practical and theoretical learning to ensure that you are well-equipped for a career in tourism. An annual optional educational tour within South Africa provides you with wider exposure if you elect to undertake it (additional costs apply).

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
NSC (National Senior Certificate) (Gr 12) with admission to Diploma studies or NC (National Certificate) (Vocational) with the minimum requirements for entrance to Diploma studies

WORK INTEGRATED LEARNING
Experiential learning of 300 hours is completed during the three years of study that will enable you to apply theoretical and practical knowledge gained from your studies in the working environment. This enhances your employability as you are then able to demonstrate the ability to work successfully in the sector.
